Experience God’s Love in The Taiwan Church

　　能來到台灣，我們覺得是個奇蹟，因為來這裡之前，我們從來沒有想過會在另一個國家待這麼久，這跟來台灣度假是不一樣的。

　　老實說，一開始我們很擔心，因為我們沒辦法想像在台灣的生活會是什麼樣子，比如說，面臨小孩上學的問題，我們的教會生活，以及語言不通的問題等等，但是我們堅信，上帝一定會帶領我們面對所有的難處。

　　來台灣兩天之後，我們在住家附近走一走，然後看見ㄧ棟大樓的外面有一個招牌，招牌上面有閃亮的十字架，我們很確信那裏有一間教會，第二天，我們就到那裏詢問教會主日崇拜的時間。

　　感謝神！祂讓我們認識牧師和師母，他們很熱心地接待我們，那個主日，我們開始在那裏聚會，也認識其他的會友，我們很感恩，因為上帝帶領我們來到一個愛神的教會，一個弟兄姊妹彼此相愛的教會。

　　上帝透過這間教會幫助我們，在教會，我們的小孩可以學一些基本的中文，為他們上小學做準備，辦理小孩在新街國小的入學手續時，還好有教友的協助，整個過程得以順利完成，感謝上帝，讓我們在台灣有了一個新的家。

　　現在我們在台灣聚會一年了，有一半的時間是在這裡聚會，雖然我們的中文還是不太流利，在教會中，我們仍然和弟兄姊妹一同經歷屬靈的成長，希望在回印尼之前，我們可以持續在這裡聚會。

　　經驗教導我們不要忘記上帝在我們生命中的美好，要常常謝恩，上帝總是按照祂的時刻回應我們的禱告，我們禱告讓這間教會成為世上的光和鹽，帶領更多的人相信耶穌基督是救主，願上帝永遠與我們同在。阿門。

We felt a miracle when we first came to Taiwan. Previously we had never thought about moving to a new place to stay long enough in Taiwan. This is different from us going on vacation in Taiwan.

To be honest, in the beginning, we were very worried because we could not imagine life's journey in Taiwan. For example, the problems of schools for our children, the problems of the church community in which we are involved, the problems of communication skills with our Taiwanese language are very limited. But we strongly believe that God has given us this opportunity and God will certainly provide a way out for every problem we face.

After two days in Taiwan, we walked around our residence, and we saw a sign of a cross shining in a tall building. We feel confident that there is a church inside. The next day we went to the place to ask about the Sunday worship schedule.

We feel grateful that God brought us to meet with the church leader and his wife. They accepted us very well. On Sundays, we began to worship in that place. We met with other people inside this church. We are thankful that God brought us together with people who love God and also love others in this church.

God helps us through this church. They help us so that our children can learn the

basics of Taiwan language to prepare our children to go to elementary school. Likewise, during the registration process at Xin Jie Elementary School, a church member helped us. Without her help, we faced so many difficulties to did it properly. We are very grateful that God gave a new family in Taiwan.

Now we have been worshiping for a year and a half in this church. Even though our Taiwanese language is still not fluent, we can experience spiritual growth with other people in this church. We feel God's love flowing to us through this church. Hope we can continue to worship in this place until we finish our tasks in Taiwan and return to Indonesia.

Our experience teaches us that we do not forget the goodness of God in our lives and always give thanks, that God always gives answers to each of our prayers in the way and timing of God. We pray for this church will always be the light and salt of the world to bring more people to believe in Jesus Christ as their Savior. God always be with us all, amen.
